The popular “Made In Burton Green” event returns to the Greenway next year! Do you remember last year’s wonderful scarecrows scattered along the route, and the giant spider hanging from one of the bridges? And the yarn bombing decoration of trees? Can’t wait!
SATURDAY 25 & SUNDAY 26 JUNE
Made In Burton Green 2016 – The Kenilworth Greenway
Made in Burton Green is a village event incorporating an arts and crafts exhibition at the Village Hall and scarecrow competition (open to all), set against the backdrop of the linear park known as The Kenilworth Greenway that runs through the village, between Kenilworth Common and Berkswell Station.
Take a stroll along The Greenway to see the results of a community “larger than life” project and drop into the Village Hall to view a showcase of local arts and crafts talent and enjoy refreshments.
There will also be a chance to vote for your favourite scarecrow. The exhibition is part of the Warwickshire Open Studios initiative and will be open on 25 & 26 June 2016.
The scarecrows and “larger than life” will be in situ between 25 June and 10 July.
Burton Green Village Hall (CV8 1PH) is on Hodgett’s Lane, 200 metres from the junction with Cromwell Lane in Burton Green Village.
Car parking is available.
Exhibition/cafe opening times: 12 noon to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday 25 June.
10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Sunday 26 June.
